The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, yesterday attended the official ceremony of the XXVIII Anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of the Region of Murcia, which took place at the Teatro Thuillier Caravaca de la Cruz.
Regional and municipal authorities across the region attended the event held in the town caravaqueño to mark the Jubilee Year, which handed the gold medals of the Community.
On this occasion received the Gold Medal of the matador Pepin Liria Cehegín, sculptor Carrilero caravaqueño José Gil and the Union of Worker Cooperatives in the Region of Murcia (Ucomur).
Also awarded with the Diploma in Foundation Distinguished Service Diagram Psychosocial Intervention and, posthumously, the unionist Antonio López Baños and José Ángel Zambudio Mompeán employer.
The event was enlivened by the group of metals of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, who played 'Rondellus to Murcia' by Benito Lauret, and completed his performance with the'm glad the 'Water Music' by Handel, and 'Symphony of Fanfares' by Joseph Mouret.
He also starred the singer unionense Encarnación Fernández, accompanied on guitar by maestro Antonio Muñoz.
