The Mayor and Councillor for Education inaugurated the eighth week of the school Cultural and Solidarity "La Milagrosa" (23/04/2010)

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, and Culture, Belén García, attended the opening ceremony of the acts of the eighth week of the school Cultural and Solidarity "La Milagrosa" of Totana who come to commemorate the 350 th anniversary of the death of Vincent de Paul and Louise de Marillac.

The opening ceremony of the Cultural Week, entitled "Responsible for a heritage: 350 years involved in a mission of love" was held in the lounge acts of the center, and has been attended by representatives of school management, the educational community and students from different courses.

During the opening, has introduced a new print newspaper has published a school on the occasion of this anniversary.

It has also been a conference on the life and work, and his spiritual legacy of the two people who lead cultural and educational events which are the subject of the Cultural Week.

The work has been done across the board in each of the lessons and by students of different educational levels of the school, which will allow the school to discuss and analyze during the events taking place next week.

Similarly, the municipal authorities have been able to see first hand the work they have done in recent weeks the students of different educational levels of the school and visit the various exhibitions that have been organized during this cultural week.

The program also includes poetry readings, raffles solidarity, visits of exhibitions by the family, which will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 18:00 hours, activities within the "Week Physical Activity and Health "organized by the municipality, among others.

Both the mayor and the councilman of Education congratulated the teachers and students by the previous efforts that have been made to organize the VIII Cultural Week and the work they have played in the celebration activities.
