The Department of Women and Equal Opportunities in collaboration with the Department of Culture and to celebrate World Book Day, celebrated today, has organized activities for children with the aim of encouraging reading, which take place on Saturday April 24 from 18:00 to 21:00 hours in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja.
Through this initiative, which has been funded by the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia, is also meant that the children have a fun and lively evening through reading workshops and storytelling on equal opportunities, focusing on values of respect, equality, non discrimination and rejection of violence, as reported by the council in the industry, Josefa María Sánchez.
Also, the activity's "The flip book", which aims to educate in equal rights and opportunities to boys and girls.
The activity will begin with the staging of a storyteller, "Grandpa with an old concept, which will be attended by Antonio Pelegrin.
Subsequently, there will be story reading through the read points related to coeducation and equal opportunities, where each participant will develop a bookmark with different materials and each will be customized.
Finally we proceed to the reading of "The animated tale" that will require the interpretation of a story where every child will actively participate in the representation.
