Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, presented yesterday the publication of books for the winning stories of I Short Story Competition for Equality, Totana 2009 ", edited and convened by the municipal department.

This action is part of the II Plan for Equal Opportunities between women and men of Totana, particularly in the area of culture, whose main objective is to get a breakdown of social stereotypes and promote a culture of equality, and therefore has organized this contest with the idea to promote that through the narrative, to question old patterns of gender inequality, patterns that affect not only children but on society as a whole.
