The Department of Culture and Women and Equal Opportunities Totana City Council have organized a program of activities to commemorate the International Day of the Book ", to be held from next Monday 19 April to Friday 24 April including library visits, tributes, workshops and storytelling, among other things.
The activities will kick off on Monday 19 with the "Book Week", where all visitors to the Library from 19 to April 22 may participate in the draw for a lot of books to be delivered on 23 April 21:00 pm on Socio-Cultural Center "Jail."
Also on Tuesday, April 20 at 18:30 the presentation will proceed to the publication of the winning stories on the "I Short Story Competition for Equality 2009", by Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities , Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council
The work program also includes visits Municipal School Children to the library, which will be conducted over a week.
Organized activities will continue on Friday April 23 at 21:30 pm, the day which commemorates the International Day of the Book ", with the recital tribute to Miguel Hernandez in the centenary of his birth, which will be borne by the Cultural Association of Seed Fund in the Socio-Cultural Center Theatre "Jail" and all attendees will be presented with a book.
Finally, we will carry out the activity "The flip book" that includes various activities such as a workshop on "Points of reading related to coeducation and equal opportunities" which will take place dynamic games of "large group" .
There will also be a workshop on Storytelling: "A fairy a Smile" on Saturday April 24 from 18:00 to 21:00 in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja.
