The two students of the IES Juan de la Cierva return with medals after participating in the National phase of the Physics Olympiad (14/04/2010)

Students, Sebastián Cánovas and Cristian Carrasco Canovas Sanchez, who participated in the National phase of Physics Olympiad, held at the University of Alicante from 8 to April 11 as part of the team of six students who represented the Region Murcia, achieved a new accomplishment to each of them deserve a bronze medal in demanding scientific competition.

Of 150 student participants from all over Spain, selected among the best in their respective regions, both totanero school students have been classified in the general ranking of the Olympics within the first 40 group, which has earned them the mentioned bronze medals.

Again from here send our congratulations to these students, who attend the International Baccalaureate program, and encourage them to persevere in the culture of hard work and pursuit of excellence in public education.
