The Ministry of Universities, Business and Research through the Directorate General of Trade and Crafts has awarded a grant in the amount of 6,000 euros to finance the implementation of the first Fair Trade Outlet in Totana "to promote local urban commerce, whose total budget amount of 10,324 euros, as reported by the council for Crafts, Isabel María Sánchez.

The actions to be developed through this grant and the implementation of this program to encourage urban commerce, as explained by the council, will focus on establishing an area for holding the first fair trade outlets, their adequacy and provision of services for the event day.

These actions are among other things, the marking of outlets, the provision of adequate lighting in the area, hire individual tents or stands as outlets for the installation of participating merchants, the provision of PA enclosure, campaigns promotion and media advertising, design and printing of posters and brochures, sound and lighting costs, costs of the security service.
