Municipal Information Office of City Council Youth Housing Totana, a service that offers free information and advice on any questions on housing, has received a total of 144 consultations during the first three months of the year, 17 percent more visits than last year at this same time.
Referring to the first quarter of last year, state aid related queries on rent, have increased by 64 percent and in relation to inquiries related to government assistance in homebuying remain virtually unchanged .
These consultations, according to its content can be broken down into two sections, such as aid in the purchase of housing (32 visits), and government support in terms of rental housing (112 queries).
The service, which is aimed at young people between 18 and 35 years, is mainly intended to serve the information required by the young to face the world of housing, as it is intended that, from a single window, free and little bureaucracy as possible, the youth can get the best and most complete information and advice to buy, rent and reform, among other things, the property you are looking for.
To accomplish these objectives, in addition to staff dedicated to information and guidance of the user, the service has a lawyer, an economist and an architect who is responsible for expert advice and personalized in their respective areas
This service has been developing since early March in coordination with the Department of Housing and Rehabilitation Office in the former premises of the local police, "Main Building of the contributions."
The public opening hours of the Youth Housing Office is open Monday to Wednesday from 09:30 to 14:00 and Friday from 09:30 to 13:30, while the public opening hours of the Office of Rehabilitation is Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 13:00.
Youth Housing Service is offered through the collaboration of the Council of Totana the Youth Institute of the Autonomous Community.
