The remodeling of the Paseo de la Avenida de la Rambla de La Santa, included in the POS 2009, from Bridge Street to the Bridge of the Blacksmith, and have started running this week, as reported by the Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Development Maria José Bedia.
The works, which are being implemented by the company "Asphalt Pavement Lario SL" has a budget of 136,000 euros, funded largely by the Autonomous Community, and a lead time of two months.
The company currently is conducting the raised pavements affected by the replacement of new pavement and then, as reported by the mayor, there will be a full replacement of existing pavements, made of stamped concrete pavement in sidewalks that make walking, slope-corrected cross street to give it the same characteristics as the rest of the mall.
The work also will include the renovation of the drinking water and public lighting, where lights will be placed with all the installation necessary for its proper functioning, in addition to the renewal of gardening.
With the execution of these works are intended to complement the refurbishment of the Avenida de la Rambla de la Santa, referred to in Plan E and recently completed, in order to provide this avenue of the same image and services necessary for urban buildings, both existing and future, to be carried out to improve road safety for pedestrians and increase the quality of life of citizens.
