Playing Day of School Sport Athletics took place on Saturday March 6 at the Municipal Sports Pavilion Manolo Ibáñez de Totana and was attended by 180 pupils of all schools in the town, belonging to the youngest category and fry, both male and female form.
Participating students had the opportunity to enjoy throughout the morning in different forms of initiation in athletics, as long jump, vertical jump, ball throw, javelin and sprinting.
The competition concluded with the presentation of trophies to top three teams from each of the categories by the Councillor for Sports of Totana, José Antonio Valverde Queen.
The final winners were: Jorge Ruiz ("Reina Sofia") in youngest male category, María López Pérez (Colegio "La Milagrosa") in female baby, Miguel Angel Martínez (Colegio "Santiago"), in juvenile male; and Virginia Lee (College "Reina Sofia") in youngest female category.
In addition, the most outstanding students on this day will have the opportunity to participate in the Regional Final Playing School Sports Athletics, who organized the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, in its program of Sports School Age, the Mula March 23, for more juvenile, and June 16 for the category Cehegín youngest.
