Councilman Comprehensive Maintenance Services and the City, Sergio Lopez, visited the installation of sewage works in La Santa, which will eliminate odors and proceed to the reuse of water for irrigation in this area of the municipality.
The execution of these works, whose project was approved by the Local Government Board, is being conducted by the "Commercial Urbaser, SL," amounting to 227,441.23 euros, and will be completed by mid-April next month .
Councilman Comprehensive Maintenance Services and the City, Sergio López, explained that "this solution is considered appropriate for its low maintenance cost and good results for the equivalent population exists in the place of the Saint."
It has also pointed out that the old sewage deposit should be maintained and connect to the new, as a measure for the absorption of excessive flows dates such as the pilgrimage and others.
With the execution of these works, said the mayor will fix the malfunction and odors arising from the same, due to lack of adequate treatment of flows mainly from the premises of the shrine and hotel complex as well as the houses located nearby.
