Totana Civil Protection has given a talk among users of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of the Three Hail Marys Totana on safety and prevention measures to be taken before the earthquake risk in the new units Local Police.
During the conversation, in which all the components of the Association, recalled some safety measures to be taken if you live in an area of earthquake risk, as preventive measures help reduce the damage can result from disasters and emergencies, some useful guidelines for self-protection, and help you make decisions that can promote both their safety and that of others.
These measures are to review, assess and enhance the status of those parts of buildings that can be detached first, such as chimneys, eaves or balconies, be extremely careful about the placement and support of some objects that can fall, have special care with the placement of toxic or flammable.
Also, Civil Protection reported a series of self-protection measures to take during an earthquake and seek refuge under the lintels of the doors, stay away from windows, glass, windows, walls and objects that can fall and get hit, do not use the elevator and use flashlights for lighting, among other things.
The talk given was complemented with another set of preventive and safety measures, as well as the need to show calm before an emergency to give notice to 112 in a quiet, providing all information necessary to mass emergencies.
