More than 700 students from ten schools in Totana participate today in the new school water sports program, which has been established through the coordination of the Department of Sports, the teachers of Primary and Secondary Totana, and management company of the municipal swimming pool.

The councilman of Deportes, José Antonio Valverde Queen has indicated that students in schools can enjoy a month at least four bathrooms in the pool and sports activities and coordinated adapted physical education teachers and monitors Sports Center and Health, which will be developed in sports facilities.

Queen Valverde explained that this activity per month to each family could provide a cost of 16 euros, however, thanks to the efforts undertaken since the Consistory, the concessionaire of the service will subsidize 9 euros, 3 euros City Council , so that every child who participates in the activities a month will only cost 4 euros.

For its part, Alfonso Cifuentes, as representative of the physical education teachers, and recognize the great economic effort that the City does for this activity is not very expensive for families, explained that since the area of education has been working on the schedule for this new activity to suit each age group going to the game.

Also, the professor pointed out that the main objective is to promote grassroots sport among children and youth.

Also, the director of the Center for Sport, Pedro Peinado, has recognized that this activity has been launched through coordination to three bands and that after this agreement has laid the groundwork for the next school year 2010-11.

Peinado has indicated that the campaign includes the slogan "Nothing, Learn, Play and Have Fun", as these are the basics for children to learn to respect and love the sport.
