The Department of Sports held on Saturday November 28 Tournament Table Tennis School at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáńez," framed in the School Sports Programme, where 90 students participated from different schools in the locality , corresponding to the categories juvenile, infant, cadet and youth, both male and female form.
The competition, which included the collaboration of the Table Tennis Club Totana, concluded with the presentation of trophies to top three teams from each of the categories by the Councillor for Sports, José Antonio Valverde Queen, and Domingo Méndez Garre, President's Club Table Tennis Totana.
The winning school in each of the categories were Pedro Zamora (Colegio "Tierno Galván") in juvenile male category, Ana Belén Campos (Colegio "Santa Eulalia"), in juvenile female, Jose Antonio Lario (IES "Juan de la Cierva "), in male children, and Blas Serrano (IES" Juan de la Cierva "), in male cadet.
This school competition is framed as a Local Phase Championship Sports Promotion of the Region of Murcia, organized by the Directorate General of Sport within the Sports Program School Age, and qualifying for the Regional Stage Table Tennis School, which will take place on Saturday December 12 in Los Alcazares.
