Among the activities planned in the project "Integration of children and youth rehabilitative or at risk of social exclusion", undertaken by the Department of Social Welfare, has made an excursion to the archaeological museum "Los Baños" in Alhama de Murcia.
During the visit in which 15 young people visited the archaeological remains of the baths that were used by the Romans, Muslims and later in the nineteenth century.
In addition, also visited an exhibition of fossils found in the region of Murcia participants impressed by the quality of parts.
This project is funded by the Ministry of Labour and Immigration and main objective is to promote and make the learning process of children between 12 and 16 years from disadvantageous family and social contexts and have deficits in the educational, social and family, thereby boosting abilities, skills and attitudes to inclusion, social participation and citizen coexistence.
Within the project plans to develop other social and educational activities with young people through the month of December.
These activities will range from social skills workshops, educational support, creative workshops, sports activities, intercultural workshops, group dynamics, positive employment activities leisure, living in the mountains, etc..
