The Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration Services (Directorate General of Family and Minors) launches its fourth consecutive year the project "NEXUS: A new learning experience" that are the development of various workshops for parents, who have enrolled 80 families in the municipality.

The Nexus project training sessions, which began on Wednesday October 14 and will last until November 30, is being developed in the Social Center of the barrio San Roque de Totana, in schedule 20 to 22 hours in two distinct groups due to the high number of applications received.

"Nexus: a new learning experience" is a workshop for parents through which seeks to inform, educate and guide parents in matters directly related to the educational process of their children.

This project is a socio-educational in nature, whereby it seeks to provide useful tools and techniques for families to effectively overcome the difficult task of educating their children and create a space for discussion and reflection where all participating parents to expose their difficulties and problems and where to all will try to find the best solutions.

In addition to the workshop there will be a specific space where the children of participants will be accompanied by a monitor with which developed several workshops and games for parents who so wish to attend with their children.
