Occupational Center "José Moya" said goodbye to the month of September with a closing party end of year (13/07/2009)

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Councillor for Social Welfare, Juan Carrion Tudela, closed last Friday the program of training activities aimed at people with disabilities that have been developed during the 2008/2009 academic year Occupational Center "José Moya "in the locality.

To mark the completion of the educational activities of the center, there was a way to act involving, in addition to 32 users and professionals from the center, many relatives and friends who did not want to miss this very special day for Centre users.

During the evening of Friday, the visitors could see a projection of the leading images of the activities that have been made in the period between September 2008 and July 2009.

In addition, during the act local authorities took delivery of the diplomas that recognize the effort made by everyone who attended the center during this course.

In this sense, the center's director, José Antonio Romero, took stock of the academic year highlighting the activities performed by students in all areas, especially handicrafts.

Thus, highlighted the quality of courses, workshops and taught by professionals from the center, which makes "users are growing day by day as autonomous, responsible adults" and thanked the City for their collaboration during the eight years of the center, which has established itself as a quality resource in the field of stimulation for people with disabilities.

For his part, Mayor of Totana commended the great work done by all professional staff of the Centre and expressed his pleasure at being shared with the audience the time of closure, since, as said the mayor, the Center Occupational Totana is a pioneering service in the region.

For his part, Carrion Tudela also had words of appreciation to the center's professional team, a "very professional and committed team that has combined with all users and specialized individualized work" and appreciated the commitment of all persons who are part of Center Advisory Council.
