The Municipal Service Psychosocial support has put an end to this new edition of the awareness campaign aimed at youth and adolescents on mental health, which has conducted courses in 3rd and 4th year during the months of April, May and June this year.
The program has been developed in three schools in the municipality such as the Secondary School "Juan de la Cierva" Secondary School "Prado Mayor" and College "The Miracle" which has reached about 300 students.
The sessions are taught by professionals Psychosocial Support Service, Elena and Ana, who work to accompany people with mental health diagnosis.
Through this campaign, as assessed Councilman Social Welfare, accompanied by professional service "we aim to contribute to challenge prejudice and social stereotypes about people with mental illness (awareness) as well as avoiding the consumption of substances that may influence the onset of certain disorders (prevention). "
