The councilman of Promotion and Employment, Trini Cayuela, has reported that the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment allocated this year more than 6.4 million euros to promote self-employment through aid, awarded directly without make an initial investment to recover the subsidy

Also pointed out that "the regional government will give up to 9,000 euros to unemployed workers who decide to start their own business", within the Ministry aid intended to promote self-employment and this year amount to more than 6, 4 million euros.

In particular, it will offer 6,000 euros to entrepreneurs who want to become self-employed, amount to increase to 7,000 for women entrepreneurs and 7,700 are a victim of gender violence.

For the unemployed self-employed over 55 or suffering from disabilities, the Ministry will give aid of up to 8,000 euros and 9,000 in the case of being a woman.

The council has stressed the importance of such amounts, especially "in a very difficult time for the labor market that requires effective and flexible ways to facilitate the earliest incorporation of workers who are losing their jobs as a result of the crisis" .

The most significant development this year, as reported Trini Cayuela, is the elimination of the requirement that forced the entrepreneur to make an initial investment prior to get help.
