International Baccalaureate students of IES Juan de la Cierva, stand at the Olympics in Physics and Chemistry. (23/03/2009)

Another year International Baccalaureate students have obtained excellent results in the Olympiad in physics and chemistry, which competed with the brightest students from all the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

Both Olympics were held on the campus of Espinardo, University of Murcia the past 18 and 27 February respectively.

The student

Daniel Romera Rojo

has been classified in two Olympics to be part of two separate teams representing the region of Murcia will compete in the National Olympics, to be held during the month of April, in Ávila (the chemistry) and Pamplona (the physics).

Moreover, the student

María Cano Tudela

has been in 7 th position in the Physics Olympiad, which is to belong, as a substitute, the winning team will participate in the national phase.

In addition, students

Antonio Gallardo Martínez

has gained a worthy honorable mention in the Physics Olympiad.

I congratulate these students by extending it to other peers, examples of the efforts and perseverance in the study that is so lacking in these times, which again are leaving great place to IES Juan de la Cierva , the International Baccalaureate program and enrolled in the town of Totana.
