The Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, has reported that the deadline for students in the three nursery schools in the town for the next academic year 2009/2010 will be open from Monday 23 March until 30 April.
The admission forms in infant schools, for children between 1 and 2, can be collected in any of the preschools "Clara Campoamor", "Doña Pepita López Gandía" and "Carmen Baró, as well as at City Hall and the Department of Education, located in the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail."
The deadline for applications is Thursday 30 April, debiéndose deliver the request before the expiration of the date specified in the Citizens Advice Service (SAC) of the City.
The provisional lists of pupils in infant schools will be published on May 15, being able to file claims until 25 May and finally the final lists will be published on 20 March.
Applications submitted after the deadline, according to the mayor stressed, will be the first process of selection from waiting list automatically.
The council has reported that there are a total of 277 children attending three schools, with 124 attending the Infant School "Clara Campoamor, 93 to the" Carmen Baró "and 60 attend the new school Child "Doña Pepita López Gandía.
