The council of Women, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, delivered in the afternoon yesterday prizes III Children's Drawing Contest 2009 on Equal Opportunities between men and women and Coeducation six children winners of the courses of 5 and 6 Primary participating schools.
The Department awarded the children with school supplies valued at 100 euros which included a dictionary of Secondary Education, a book of Harry Potter, an educational game about the solar system and a case.
For the course of Primary 5, the first prize was awarded to the student Andreo Adrian Solano, College "Reina Sofía".
Similarly, the second and third prizes have been for Gallegos Dayana College Illescas "Reina Sofía", and Walter Eduardo Jaramillo Jumbo's Bar Association of "Lebor.
Regarding the course of Primary 6, the first prize winner was Juan David Romero Canovas del Colegio "Reina Sofía", the second prize went to José Antonio Andreo Yllanes, the College "Santa Eulalia" and the third prize was collected by Juan Jose Crespo Martínez, of the College "Santiago."
Woman Councillor said during the celebration of the awards that this event has been very successful participation, because the jury had to decide between 130 drawings of 5 th and 6 th Primary.
Thus, thanked the participation and involvement of teachers and students in such activities intended to disseminate the values of equality among individuals without discrimination based on sex and defend the rights and interests of women.
