During the talk, which was given by the Director of Specific Equipment for Living School of the Directorate General for Academic Affairs and professor of psychology at the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia, Regino Angel Angel Calvo, provided data on the number of school harassment, one of every four students who suffer bullying.
It also estimated that 60% of stalkers commit a crime before age 24.
At the same time, Angel bullying defined as the process through which a student is exposed repeatedly to the school to violent acts (physical, psychological, social or verbal) that are made by another and other students with greater force or power.
On the other hand, the speaker offered parents some guidelines to prevent situations such as bullying, promote interaction and emotional contact with the children, hear their problems even if they seem insignificant, increase the expression of the children without comment indifferent their concerns, provide support to their difficulties and show that they affect the entire family, displayed positive and have realistic expectations for them, and facilitate the development of self and self-esteem, among other things.
The next talk will take place on Thursday 11 February at 20:30 hours in the Socio-Cultural Center Jail under "Preventing eating disorders in young people", which will be taught by psychologist Carmen Tárraga palmis.
