The Commonwealth Tourism Services Espuña offer visitors the charm of the town Fitur Totana (28/01/2009)

The avant-garde design stand the new "Murcia" presented today at the International Tourism Fair in Madrid has a space reserved for the promotion of nature tourism in Sierra Espuña, and with it the tourist attractions and cultural Township Totana.

This year is the Commonwealth of Tourism Services Espuña the body that promotes an extraordinary range of mountain and forest area within which are towns, villages and small hamlets and has a strategic location makes it one of the regions more accessible in the Region of Murcia.

Under this concept will be unveiled to the world the town of Totana.

As explained by the mayor of Tourism, Ana Belén García López, who will move to the capital to visit the exhibitors in the region, the location wonderful treasures in the mountain enclaves that are of interest for tourists wanting to enjoy a spectacular range of opportunities for domestic tourism, rural tourism, active, cultural and religious.

The mayor has indicated that all visitors can see the charms of the shrine of "La Santa", the festival celebrated in honor of Santa Eulalia, the Pilgrimage and Holy Week, among other activities.

The Councillor for Tourism has stressed that one of the most ambitious projects, which is currently running the Commonwealth of Espuña Tourism Services, is the "Way of Water", an eco-tourist path communicated to the five municipalities in the district and deep into the heart of the Sierra, a world of contrasts with differences in altitude, climate and forest history battered that make this National Park an island of moisture in the middle of a semidesert landscape.

In addition, as reported by the mayor of Tourism, is currently working directly with business and agents involved in tourism development both as producers and marketers of natural products of the region, in order to give more participation of different sectors who work in tourism activities.

The Commonwealth is already preparing the launch of the edition of the FOTOESPUÑA09 for next February.

As he advanced the Councillor for Tourism, this time they will forward the dates because they want to revalue the Almond bloom.

During the five days duration of the most important tourism fair held in Spain, also other initiatives will be announced soon to be launched in Espuña environment as active tourism, caving, climbing and hiking, paragliding and even novel products such as bird watching.
