Matthew Garcia, official historian of the town, received the appointment of Adopted Son of Totana (23/01/2009)

Biography

Mateo García Martínez was born in 1925 in the nearby town of Alhama de Murcia, but his life has been tied more closely to Totana since his teens, after his family moved for work, where he settled 67 years ago.
