The immigration area of the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana is providing for the educational talks this month aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of immigrants to achieve proper integration into society.
These talks, organized by Technical Program Integration and intercultural harmony, belonging to the Municipal Immigration Service, revolve around several themes, all of which are demanded by the local immigrant population.
One goal of this program is to increase the knowledge, skills, abilities and skills of immigrants, to achieve proper integration into the local host.
These talks are aimed at all people who show interest in some of the topics, whether migrant or indigenous, because what is sought in addition to the above-mentioned objective is to create living spaces where people from different cultures can interact.
The talks, which have been conducted have focused on the social inclusion that were discussed in the content such as resume preparation, cover letter, techniques and tips for job hunting.
On the other hand, the talk on the immigration law, offered information about renewing green card / work, family reunification, social integration, and clarification of doubts about any subject that interested the audience.
The next talk will be performed on Health Education, which will address issues of health care, family planning, medical and hygiene, to be held on Thursday November 13 at 19:00 pm in the offices of the Department of Civic Engagement, located in the C / Menorca n º 23.
On the other hand, on Thursday, November 20 at 19:00 pm and held a talk on social skills, which addresses some of the key practices to improve relations with the immediate social environment, to improve the participation and integration social, and develop in the same place.
