The Ministry of Agriculture and Water run-3.4 miles of service roads in the rural town of Totana, with performances by widening and improving the flush that will benefit roads and Piedra Cañada Hermosa Viper, as well as the first part of Turbinto way.
The works include drainage systems in addition to rainwater, and the placement of an asphalt layer for better road maintenance, and related signaling traffic, according to the agreement signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Water , Antonio Cerdá, and the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo.
This agreement has an investment of 200,000 euros, 50 percent funded by the Department and the city of Totana, in addition to the 250,000 euros already invested in the municipality to improve the current conditions of service of rural roads under the agreement signed between both governments in April 2007.
The objective of this agreement is to further improve the current conditions of service of these pathways, both for access to farms and rural households to agricultural vehicle traffic.
