The Social Welfare council meets with the Advisory Council of Vocational Centre "José Moya " (09/10/2008)

The councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion Tudela, recently held a meeting with the Advisory Council of Vocational Centre "José Moya", composed of representatives of families, students and professionals from the Centre to inform the next steps of City Hall on disability, and addressing the various activities taking place throughout the course.

The Advisory Council, which consists of five family members, two students and a professional, all democratically elected and the Mayor, Councillor of the area and the center's director, was elected last July, after a period of three years as marking the statutes of that body of participation that was established in 2005,

This meeting presented the new members of the Board and discussed various topics such as activities planned for the period September 2008 to July 2009 and the request to add a new user.

Also, the mayor reported the next steps of the City Council on Disability, which he said, "will consist of the next start of construction of a sheltered housing as well as the finalization of building Multipurpose Center for Persons with Disabilities."
