After several meetings between the Club de Tenis Totana and different levels of the Tennis Federation of Murcia, the totanero club has been chosen as one of the venues that will host the weekend training Training Centre of the Federation of Murcia.
Along with Cieza and Torre-Pacheco, in which clubs these players to be called the West Zone and Mar Menor, respectively, the Club de Tenis Totana is pioneering a process that now begins to decentralize the regional courts, with which is to ensure that promises players in our region have the maximum facilities to become good players without ever leaving their club of origin, and in this way without too much difficulty to reconcile their studies and their workouts, avoiding the daily commute to the capital .
This initiative should be the beginning of a new era in which the Federation of Murcia to be more present in the clubs, and should be strengthened in coming seasons to expand the number of hours of training and players attending them.
To coordinate this new service, the Federation as a coordinator with the coach of Club de Tenis Totana, Pedro Canovas, who will select the players weekly highlights of the schools in each area, followed closely by the players and early detection talents of all those promises of regional tennis from an early age.
With their active participation in this pioneering work structure regional tennis, the Tennis Club Totana is betting big on the Tennis School, whose students will benefit not only by direct contact with the great players who train at the club, but also because they will have priority whenever the circumstances of the training program so warrant.
