Local authorities attending the Mass and memorial to the dead of the Association of Families and People with Alzheimer "The Carrasca of the Holy" (06/10/2008)

The councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion Tudela, Councilwoman of Public Health, Cayuela Trini Crespo, and the councilman of Commerce, Isabel Maria Sanchez attended the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist and the homage paid to the deceased members of the Association of Families and People with Alzheimer "The Carrasca of The Saint."

The Eucharist was held at the Shrine of the Holy and once the Mass, at the foot of the oak of the Holy, was just a tribute to deceased members of the association, with a special mention for this year and all family members with dignity, dedication and strength to family caregivers.

This was followed by a meal with family, friends, members, volunteers and caregivers, organized by the Association of Families and People with Alzheimer's Totana, in the restaurant "Sale of the Rat."

This activity, which was held to mark "World Alzheimer's Day" is part of the activities in the "IV Encuentro Solidarity of Friends and Relatives of Patients with Alzheimer's, which were aimed at raising awareness of the disease and disseminate information, and request the support and solidarity of citizens are not affected and join hands with health authorities and government.
