New computer courses to teach in different municipalities (12/09/2008)

The councilman of Promotion and Employment and New Technologies, Trini Cayuela, has announced that all courses will be developed in the Computer Rooms Network of Totana, marking the beginning of the political.

These training activities, which are completely free and schedules are tailored to the needs and demands raised are aimed at workers, unemployed, self-employed and SMEs.

Through the implementation of all this wide range of training in new technologies, which has enjoyed the cooperation of the departments of Public Works and Employment, New Technologies, Women, Citizenship, Youth and Culture are intended to contribute to improving the formation of these groups for incorporation into the labor market as well as guide and inform the worker to complete their training in new technologies in the work performed.

The mayor pointed out the proposed Network Computer Rooms Totana, Raitotana, a local initiative project that has united under one name the 10 different computer labs in the county, made available to the public.

Specifically, there are 4 Walas Open Access in El Parral, the Office of Local Development and Citizen Participation Jail, 3 Telecentres in the Raiguero Bass, San Francisco district and the Plaza Balsa Vieja, and 3 Internet Rural Labor, Paretón and Raiguero Alto.

This is an innovative project in the Murcia region, according to the mayor, is enabling new technology literacy and access to them all the people of Totana.

In this regard, the mayor expressed his satisfaction with the funcioanamiento of it during its first year of operation, as they have been about 500 people who have received training in new technologies in more than 40 courses.

In addition, the development of training, free access developed in the various classrooms that make the network computer rooms in Totana has had an influx of more than 3,000 people.

The courses, taught in the morning, afternoon and evening depending on where they are taught.

Jail, Public Participation and Parral and others in the afternoon and evening and Local Development Office in the mornings, are aimed at people with and without computer skills, and also incorporate 2 new courses to the training offered on the occasion of the great demand.

These courses are the "Power Point" (20 hours) and "Digital Photography" (20 hours).

The courses to be delivered to people without knowledge of Computer Science are

"Computer literacy" of 20 hours, and Basic Computer and Internet, 20 hours.

On the other hand, the courses are aimed at people with computer skills will be the Internet (20 hours), Word Word Processing (20 hours), Excel Spreadsheets (20 hours) and database (20 hours).

In order to make applications for courses, starting in the mid to late September, the forms can be collected and delivered to City Hall or in places where they are to conduct the training.

Finally, the council and Employment Development also reported on the implementation of various vocational training courses for unemployed and employed workers or independent, that will develop as demand and acceptance of them, at the Center Local Development.

These course are those of "Early Childhood Education Assistant", "Attention and care for dependents", "Management accounting mechanized", "Image processing.
