The new Municipal Nursery of Companies of Totana aims to become a site for the encouragement of innovative entrepreneurship and the creation of jobs in the industrial park "The Saladar" in this town.
The mayor, Juan José Canovas, and the general director of the Institute of Development, Javier Celdrán, accompanied by the director general, Javier Collado "Incyde-Chambers of Commerce Foundation", and the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Murcia, Pedro Martinez Balibrea inaugurated this infrastructure, set on a plot adjacent to the sports arena, which has a floor area of ​​1,747 square meters.
The Business Incubator, located in the industrial park consists of five modular buildings, two of which 200 square meters, and four of 110 squares meters respectively;
all equipped with electrical connection sockets, water and telephone, as well as an office and toilets.
In addition, the ground floor of the main building has common areas to be used by entrepreneurs, in this case, a multipurpose room, about 40 square meters, seating area, lobby and toilets.

At present, there are already awarded two ships, three offices and a room with six nests for new local entrepreneurs.
This infrastructure, which has been refurbished by Community funds FEDER through the "Incyde Foundation" aims to become an element that articulates the creation of new business initiatives, through a comprehensive training and licensing process for entrepreneurs to its final implementation in the market.
The Municipal Business Incubator is part of the Business Incubator Network Development Institute and is also part of the Incubator Network -Incubación Business Excellence "Incyde Foundation".
A service offered by this, they may choose new companies starting their business with installation in the infrastructure, start-ups has started its journey in less than one year or entrepreneurs in preparation of business project term.
To do this, you need to be an entrepreneur (include discharge for tax purposes as a company in any legal forms), having its registered office in the Region of Murcia and set this activity in the Municipal Business Incubator.
It comprises a range of services and facilities available to entrepreneurs during their stay in it, whose candidates are chosen by a selection committee which assesses the suitability and profile business projects.
The schedule of the ships is free each licensee may establish the most suitable for the development of its activity;
while the center (public areas, offices and nests) will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 15:00 and 16:00 to 21:00.
The mayor explained that this infrastructure aims to become a tool to help encourage entrepreneurship, understood these as generators of wealth and employment, contributing to the welfare and improvement of the socio-economic environment of Totana.
Also he called for providing this content now with the incorporation of new companies starting up their projects and help project the polygon even more, creating jobs and contributing to social and economic welfare of the municipality.
He also indicated that services like these are helping raise awareness of fostering an entrepreneurial culture in the personal and professional development of entrepreneurs, and motivate the whole society on entrepreneurship as a catalyst for social and economic growth.
For its part, the general director of INFO conducted a review of the role that has the Incubator Network's governing body in the whole region of Murcia and price there are currently 22 nurseries in 17 municipalities in Murcia, in that are already installed more than 220 companies.
He recalled that LARED Incubator EmpresayCentros Support Entrepreneur of the Region of Murcia, was created to manage jointly the promotion, advisory activities, the provision of services, as well as actions needed to achieve improvements that result in competitiveness of entrepreneurs and companies in the regional environment.
The CEO defended the need to provide managers and technicians of business incubators tools necessary to increase value-added services aimed at entrepreneurs and businesses located in them and said this action as an example of collaboration and coordination between institutions and administrations.
The event was also attended by the deputy mayor, Andrés García, Councillor for Industry and president of Proinvitosa, Antonia Camacho, many representatives of the four local political groups, businessmen and members of the city's business and professional associations, as various banks and financial institutions established in Totana.
