The various bodies at European, national and regional level, have established themselves as one of the objectives to be achieved with the group of young people, reducing youth unemployment, through improving skills and encouraging the recruitment and self-employment, for it has launched the National Youth Guarantee System.
The Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle", to collaborate in this line of work, started in December 2015 a new project called "WORK 2.0: Youth Guarantee", a source of diversification and specialization in socio youth intervention This initiative is funded by the Instituto Murciano Social Action and the European Social Fund.
This project is intended to address the group of skilled young people who fulfill the following form:
Aged between 16 and 29 years.
Unemployed and who are not studying.
In socially disadvantaged, for their personal, social, family ... as poor training for example.
Reside in the Bajo Guadalentín (Totana, Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Librilla and Mazarrón).
This project aims to provide a space for information, training, guidance and advice relating to the work / training / education to the young world, all framed within the resources offered by the Youth Guarantee System.
It also constitutes a source of support for social intervention that is carried with the group of young people from the Department of Social Services of the Bajo Guadalentín and specialized to general resources existing youth guarantee support in the area .
The specific actions that the Association "El Candil" will offer young people in the "Labor 2.0 Youth Guarantee" project are:
Support in the process of active job search.
educational guidance - work formativa-.
Social skills training, communication, conflict resolution techniques, active job search, linguistic communication, mathematics, languages, new technologies, skills ....
social care for those participants who need it, on other social municipal resources, employment, training, etc.
sporting, social and cultural activities.
Mediation and Prospecting work analyzing the labor situation in the Bajo Guadalentín, and studying the various jobs that companies generate.
Search jobs.
Work placements with the possibility of hiring.
All young people who meet the admission requirements and wish to take the reins to start designing their training / employment / educational future, can participate in the Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee.
