The Department of Sports reports that last Saturday, January 30, held at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" Phase Local "Playing athletics" School Sports in the youngest category, both male and female.
In this activity they involved a total of 71 students from different schools of the town.
This school competition was divided into five stations: speed, shot put, lateral jump, javelin and long jump.
The event concluded with the presentation of trophies to the top three by the Councillor of Finance, Contracting and Heritage, Ana Maria Canovas.
In the male category, the final winner was Fonsseny Cisse (San Jose), followed by Luis Navarro Lombardo (Santa Eulalia) and Mario Sánchez García (Santa Eulalia), in the second and third positions respectively.
While in the female form, Alicia Lopez Romero (La Cruz) was first classified, completing the podium Amalia Rubio Miras (Reina Sofia) and Lucia Martinez Tudela (Santa Eulalia).
This school competition has also been qualifying for the Regional Final of "Playing athletics" School Sports, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, which takes place precisely in Totana, on Wednesday February 24.
