With the activity "Tales of a thousand colors" program Reading Promotion offered to teachers in the municipality resumes (22/01/2016)

The Municipal Library "Matthew Smith" has resumed this week's program Reading Promotion offered to schools of Totana for the current year, according to sources from the Department of Culture.

The two fourth grade classes CEIP "San Jose" have attended the activities scheduled for the month of January, "Tales of Mil Colores" and will also feature the participation of school pupils "Regional-Deitania" "Luis Perez Rueda", "Santa Eulalia", "Santiago" and "Reina Sofia".

About 230 students in the fourth year of primary education of the above centers will carry out this activity, entirely developed by the library staff, and aims to bring students to the different cultures that currently live in schools as they are Muslim , Ecuadorian, Chinese and Spanish.

In a playful way, children can visualize what customs, sports, and main resources of these countries are.
