"Jail" welcomed on Monday the public presentation of the latest produced by the "Bastida Project" (14/01/2016)

The Socio-Cultural Center "Jail" will host next Monday the 18th, from 18:00, the public presentation of the book entitled "Early research in La Bastida (1869-2005)", the talk will be given by Rafael Micó Roberto Risch and Eve Celdrán, members of the "Bastida Project", which promotes the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

In this volume a wealth of documentation is collected in the form of texts, documents and photographs from the excavations and scientific analyzes focused on this city of the Bronze Age.

Throughout nearly 1,600 pages, a journey through the history of a key archaeological site in the context of European prehistory and in a way, a review of the ways of doing archeology in our country since the birth of this science offers .

The second important aspect of the presentation will focus on various initiatives to promote the archaeological heritage of Totana, as far as the Bronze Age is concerned.
