The Department of Culture of the City of Totana puts a new initiative in the cultural field, called "Cultural Totana", a project through which citizens and sensitive concerns in the field of culture can participate and be involved in drawing up and programming of cultural activities.

Participants may bring, suggest, collaborate and organize activities coordinated across different work groups with various themes in the interests of the participants.

The councilman of Culture, Eulalia Moreno, presented this initiative, which is open to the whole society, and with the aim to revitalize and stimulate different areas of action of the cultural policy of the municipality, by involving its protagonists.

As an instrument of coordination and collaboration, they have promoted the establishment of a working group through which cultural activities will be programmed diverse.

These groups are open and can participate in all those with concerns in the field of culture.

Currently already have formed the following groups: "Fine Arts", "Cine-Teatro", "Music", "Literature", "History-Heritage" and "Traditions and Debate";

which currently has the collaboration of about twenty people.

Persons wishing to participate may register in person at the Sociocultural Center Jail Monday through Friday mornings from 9:00 to 14:00 h., Sending a completed registration form or email totanacultural@gmail.com contacting spokesmen for each of the groups.

To publicize the constitution of Cultural Totana, operation and initially comprised members groups culture, we invite all interested persons the presentation ceremony to be held on Friday November 13 at 21:00 hours Grand Casino Society.

The group members performed various cultural activities, among which a recital of poetry by Katy Parra with musical accompaniment of Juan Francisco Esparza Canovas, who then perform several musical pieces.

And in parallel, attendees can enjoy a small sample-exposure of several works by different members of "Cultural Totana" about painting, drawing, handicrafts and so on.
