The Municipal Social Services Centre has treated over 444 quotations procedures in matters of immigration during the first half of 2015 (21/08/2015)

The Municipal Centre of Social Services has attended for the first half of 2015 a total of 444 persons in relation to the handling of immigration issues, according to sources from the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana.

These people have been provided with information, guidance and support in carrying out the steps and formalities necessary to regularize their residence in Spain, returning to their country of origin or to obtain specific benefits and resources related to their immigration status.

Sources from the Department of Social Welfare indicate that these attentions have generated the realization of 25 reports to regularize the residence of these people in our country and 87 have been oriented to applications for family reunification.

As important characteristic, the same sources said that so far this year has not been any report to encourage the return of migrants to their country of origin people.
