The mayor, Juan José Canovas, has announced that it will exercise greater control over the contracts for municipal services provided in Totana in order to optimize price and provide better service to citizens.
The alderman of Totana has met in recent weeks with the concessionaires of all the services of collection of municipal solid waste and street cleaning, indoor cleaning municipal buildings, management of day care centers, nursing, lighting public, municipal tax collection and others that affect the policy of transparency as the municipal website.
The meetings are framing in the round of contacts that are ongoing with the heads of all municipal contracts.
Totana Mayor highlighted the cordial tone in which they are developing these working meetings with the heads of the companies awarded services.
In addition, he recalled that the City shall henceforth greater control over contractors and concessionaires of services in order to banish abnormal situations and behaviors that had been made in some of them and provide better service to citizens.
