Totana Local Police conducted between 1 and 7 June, a total of 237 tests in this municipality in the special campaign to control alcohol and drug presence in drivers, who promoted the Traffic Department.
Five administrative officers formalized complaints and three crowded the court for the crime under the said campaign.
Road Safety Strategy 2011/2020 provides for the key issue of alcohol and drugs in order to lower the 1% positive for alcohol in randomized preventive controls, target achieved in the Region of Murcia in June last season.
In 33% of injury accidents occurred on the way to Murcia in 2014, alcohol was present as a contributory factor or trigger.
