The Local Government approved the proposal for the annual signing of the agreement with the Ministry of Health and Social Policy through which we will continue with the basic features of the Social Services Primary Care.
For the same, the Autonomous Community will provide the maximum amount of 420,977 euros.
On the one hand, to maintain the center of Social Services and Primary Care 347 489 euros;
secondly, to develop the measure reinforcement professionals Care Unit, a total of 24,496;
and to the accompanying program for social inclusion, 48.992 euros.
For its part, the City will allocate a minimum of 83,000 euros for the development of these skills in the locality.
The Councillor for Social Care, Josefa Maria Sanchez Mendez, stated that this agreement is made in the Regional Plan, launched in 1988, has meant over the years of implementation, the development and consolidation of the basic network of social services in primary care .
Such public network, as stated, has determined that the equipment is community based Center for Social Services, in the case of the town of Totana is endowed with a team of professionals whose actions extend generally to the entire population, and in particular to citizens in need.
From a comprehensive and versatile staff, through the centers of social services to citizens it facilitates access to resources and benefits, as well as preventive services and projects are developed and social promotion at individual, household level and Community action, the mayor has qualified Social Care.
