The Summer School of Totana, organized by the Collective The Candle in collaboration with the Youth Council of the City of Totana, in which 100 children participated has completed his first term.
As farewell finale, participants, accompanied by the monitors on Thursday enjoyed a feast refreshing water in schools.
Summer School this year has facilitated the reconciliation of work and family life, as it has expanded from 9 to 14 hours.
The Candle Power, highlight the high degree of participation achieved this July, attending around 100 participants and extending its offer until August 15, with another well attended.
During the month of July there have been three trips to the local swimming pool "December 6" of Totana, an activity that is part of the programming of the Summer School, along with the many crafts, sports, and educational support English workshop needed to enable children to move forward in their learning, providing a structured and quality alternative for leisure and free time of children during the summer
With these activities, marked the start of the Summer School targets are met, children and young people being the true protagonists of the entire educational process.
