The program to encourage reading finished the 2013/14 school year with Storyteller "The frambuesita witch" (03/07/2014)

The program Reading Promotion organized by the Department of Popular Culture, which is aimed at Totana schools through the local library, was completed in the third quarter with Storytelling "The Little Witch Frambuesita".

This animation, made during the month of May, has been catering to students of primary and second has had the participation of schools "Santa Eulalia", "Santiago", "San Jose" and "Tierno Galván".

The author Morerica Galan, who has enjoyed the cooperation of library staff, has staged this animation, which tells the story of a very greedy little witch, who lives happily cooking your jam.

As in previous films, the activity has been a success, and an original and creative way, has tried to contribute to the education of children and encourage their interest in reading.

Throughout the course have also staged other works as "Champincete and giant Capirote" totanera author, and deals with appearances and judgments issued before meeting people, "Tales of a thousand colors "which has sought to bring students to different cultures currently living in centers such as Muslim, Ecuadorian, Chinese and Spanish.

In a playful way, kids have been able to visualize what the customs of these countries are.

Previous to these animations, and framed in the first quarter of the course was conducted training activities for students in fifth and sixth "Know Your Library", and storytelling "The Flying Burrito" for third graders Primary Education , respectively.

Thus, the activities have had a share of 1200 students in all schools.

Also, with the cooperation of nurseries and Carmen Clara Campoamor Baró, has conducted the "Bebeteca" activity, which has had the participation of 57 students.
