About 300 students in the fourth year of primary education from different schools of Totana have participated during the month of January in the "Tales of a thousand colors" activity, part of the program Reading Promotion annually to offer schools.
This activity has been developed in the framework of the second quarter and is fully developed by the library staff, trying to bring students to different cultures currently living in places such as Muslim, Ecuadorian, Chinese and Spanish.
In a playful way, kids have been able to visualize what the customs of these countries are.
Throughout the month of February, it will stage an animated children's author Morerica Galán, who has written such plays as "The Frambuesita witch", "The Flying Burrito" and "Champincete and giant Capirote" among others, whose animations were conducted in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
On this occasion, given the success of the previous representation, the animation will focus on the work "and the giant Capirote Champincete".
The author, who with the collaboration of the library staff, students try to second grade, understand that we should not judge others without knowing them.
From an original and creative way, try that little will acquire a basic concept that helps in their education and to encourage their interest in reading.
