Totana will receive a total of EUR 340,868.96 through the Employment District Councils to combat unemployment and contribute to the development of rural areas of the municipality, as reported by the Employment Promotion mayor, Maria Jose Baeza.
The grant, part of the "Initiative for Rural Development in Local Authorities", aims, encouraging agricultural unemployment combat the employment of these workers in the agricultural sector emerging activities, by conducting a series of labor actions contribute, besides , to the enhancement and development of endogenous depressed rural areas of the Region of Murcia.
Under this grant of so-called "Employment District Councils" may recruit a total of 118 people in three shifts of two different months, from October to March respectively.
Totana is a municipality in the district of Guadalentin that more funding will receive: Lorca (200 266 euros), Alhama de Murcia (110.606 euros), Librilla (91 116 euros), Lumbreras Ports (47,510 euros) and Aledo (10,606 euros).
