Civil Guard and local police dismantled a point Totana drug sales (21/06/2013)

The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia and Totana Local Police, within the framework of established devices together for the prevention and disruption of drug outlets "retail" in Totana, have developed the operation "TIRALINEAS "which has resulted in the dismantling of a point of sale and distribution of drugs in the town.

It has been practiced entering and searching a home where officers have seized various amounts of cocaine and marijuana, cash from the sale of drugs and tools used for handling and preparation.

They have arrested a person on charges of drug trafficking.

The investigations were initiated by the Civil Guard, in cooperation with the local police in Totana, to detect the existence of a possible point of retail drug distribution in a house in the town.

Once obtained all necessary evidence, the officers conducted, prior judicial authorization, the entry and search of the house suspected of selling narcotics, which have seized 30 doses of cocaine ready for immediate distribution, a few grams of marijuana useful for the handling of the drug and dose preparation and 1,300 euros cash.

Therefore, we proceeded to the arrest of the person who ran the house as the alleged perpetrator of this illegal activity.

The agents have arrested on suspicion of public health crime (drug trafficking), to a person identified as:

- Spanish, 40 years old and a resident of Totana.

They have seized 30 doses of cocaine ready for distribution and several grams of marijuana.

Also intervened tools used to manipulate and adulterate cocaine until later distribution as precision scales, laminated rolls of wire, a knife with traces of cocaine, mobile phones and cash from allegedly selling cocaine

The suspect, seized drugs, the effects unwary and proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 2 Totana (Murcia).

With this operation the Civil Guard and the local police in Totana have succeeded in preventing the distribution of a large number of drug doses, thereby avoiding the harmful consumption among the population.
