Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibañez" hosts this weekend the Individual Regional Championship of Murcia Table Tennis, the most important test organized by the Table Tennis Federation of the Region of Murcia in the individual and which will be awarded the title Champion of the Region of Murcia.
Saturday 8 am to 9 hours will start the competition in the categories Benjamin, juvenile and Child being provided the final 13 hours.
In the evening at 16 o'clock start testing in either the Youth, Under 23 and Veterans fighting over the concluding 20 hours.
The premier class, the Absolute, will be held on Sunday 9th, Day of the Region, beginning at 9 am, being due to end on 14 hours.
It is expected the participation of more than 150 paddlers come from all the clubs in the region to compete in different categories from Benjamin to veterans.
In the senior Javier Soria and Jose Antonio Garcia of El Palmar monopolize the top of the rankings and start as top seeds and favorites for the title but it is a very open trial in which a group of around 8 players with options proclaimed Champion of the Region of Murcia.
Good matches are expected especially after the group stage and already in the playoffs to be played best of 5 games.
Thirteen tables are mounted on the track of the Pavilion "Manolo Ibañez" to dispute this Championship.
Totana Club Table Tennis are enrolled a total of 20 players some with chances of winning the title of Champion Autonomous Region of Murcia.
