Besides its geological value, the Cabezo of The Carmolí has ​​other natural values ​​as a flora of great interest, among which stand out as unique species palm (Chamaerops humilis) and, above all, the community of jujube (Ziziphus lotus), scrub thorny species listed as vulnerable in the Region of Murcia.

It is next to the Marina del Carmolí, the last great barely altered wetland shores of the Mar Menor.
