Totana City Council will recognize the work of troops and security forces involved in emergency work and cleaning up after the floods in homage to the Spanish flag to be held tomorrow Friday 12 October at the Plaza de la Constitution.
This event is held in conjunction with Columbus Day and onomastics of the Virgen del Pilar, patroness of the Guardia Civil.
At 11:00 am there will be the traditional Mass in the Convent of the Three Hail Marys in which agents perform a tribute to Meritorious Corps members killed in the line of duty.
Once you finish the homily, from 12:00, the military authorities belonging to EVA 13, agents of the Guardia Civil, Local Police and Civil Defence volunteers Township will move to the Plaza of the Constitution, where the Musical Group of Coral Santiago Totana and interpret the national anthem and the flag was hoisted at a ceremony that will honor the national flag and the fallen.
It is at this location where delivery is made official distinction to workers of the Department of Infrastructure and Facility Management of the City workers municipal water company, the local police, the Guardia Civil, and the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers Totana.
