The Department of Social Care and Totana Barcelonista Peña awards make drawing contest "Tolerance, do you like the painting?" (10/10/2012)

The Department of Social Care, Citizenship and neighborhood associations, with the collaboration of the Rock Barcelonista Totana, convened from March 21 to May 31, 2012 Drawing Competition "Tolerance, do you like the painting?"

in order to spread among schoolchildren attitudes of solidarity, respect and tolerance in daily life through drawing.

The drawings must reflect respect for ethnic and cultural diversity, the values ​​of solidarity, tolerance and social inclusion.

The winners of the drawing contest under the slogan "drawing contest" the toleracia, how do you paint? "Organized by the Department of Social Care, Citizenship and neighborhood associations Totana City Council are:

Alumna Elizabeth Azorín Mayor, has been awarded first prize in the Primary Education Center "La Milagrosa", with drawing "Dining" with a lot of products of FC Barcelona.

The student, Andrea Mendez Lizán, has been awarded the second prize of Elementary Education Center "Guadalentín" with the drawing "We are all equal", with a lot of products of FC Barcelona.

The student, Juan Pedro Serrano Martínez, has been awarded the third prize of Elementary Education Center "Guadalentín" with the drawing "One afternoon in the park of Tolerance", with a lot of products of FC Barcelona.

The drawing contest "Tolerance, how do you paint?"

is included in the program of awareness and combating racial discrimination made in 2012 under the project "Promotion of socio-community access to resources for social participation and civic life" funded by the European Fund for the Integration of the Ministry of Employment and Social.

Recipients of the competition were children aged 9 to 12 who were attending primary school in the town of Totana.

Involved a total of 37 children from the schools of "La Milagrosa" and "Guadalentín" and Murcia Association Welcomes Totana.

The works were selected by a jury appointed by the City of Totana, chaired by the Councillor for Social Care, Citizenship and neighborhood groups and comprising professionals Social Care and Citizenship, partners Totana Barcelonista Peña and as representatives of organizations and groups working in the field of immigration in the municipality.
